In addition to overseeing the catering operations for the sprawling France-Merrick Performing Arts Center, chef Paul Lever also has created the menu for the Hipp Café, located within the historic Hippodrome Theatre. The casual spot is cheerily decorated with memorabilia from the theater’s 96-year history and features a menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, paninis and wood-grilled personal pizzas. The café seats up to 85 diners, with full lunch and evening menus available. The Hipp Café is open Monday through Friday, 11:30-2:30 for lunch, and two hours before all theater performances.
